americanWe've gotten through the drama of the elections and we now have a Black President Elect for the first time in the history of these United States of America. He's spoke of change and ran away from everyone with that slogan and no one knew what change was until a week or so ago when Mr. Obama announced at a press conferrence ( I'm the change). With so much going on at one time in this country, I wonder how he will effect change with so much termoil in the country and so many people being displaced, out of work, barley able to make ends meet and the governments imposing more taxes. Anyone with half a brain knows you don't increase revenue by raising taxes if anything you lower them to stimulate growth. When you impose more taxes people tend to stop spending money and hold on to what they have.
Moving away from that argument, I'm wondering when are we going to see the real Obama showup. There was a time when no one could utter his middle name without being castrated now its ok. I'm watching his former friends in politics strat to drop one by one and we see the type of politician we now have in the People's House, look out Congress you ain't ready for this. He is not going to be George Bush nor Bill Clinton. I wonder what happens when he and Hillary bump heads on foreign policy, will we see the real Obama stand up or see the Clintons prevail ? I'm waiting for the other shoe to drop, and see how the American People respond. I want to see Mr. Obama make it, he says change, well lets see if he'll pardon those two border patrol agents who are in prison for doing their job protecting the US. Borders against illegal alliens. After all I've seen, heard, read and been exposed to about Borrack Obama, I'm asking myself is he the right man for the most powerful job in the US Government ? I looked at him overseas and I watch him closely and listen intently and I look at his past in the windy city of chicargo and see the shambles and mess that he hasn't fixed when he was a senator there, the housing and school system, pregnancy rate skyrocketing and nothing done, but this guy wants to be president. Most of his votes in the Senate both State and Federal have been (Present) thats niether yea or nae. You know your friends say a lot about you and your associates, and this guy has some doosies.
So I ask myself and you, is this smooth talker ready to take over the most powerful position in American and lead us anywhere but DOWN ? Is he ready to be President from Day 1 ? Is he really ready to take command of this, the Land of the Free and the Home of the Breave ? Are we hearing "quote" ( words, just words).
Now that the Supreme Court has finally gotten off its butt and given the people of the District of Columbia their constitutional right to own firearms in their homes without fear of arrest perhaps crime and murders might come down now. For over 30 some years District residents weren't allowed to own a handgun or shotgun legally for that matter, any type of firearm. Those who did had to have it unloaded and locked and kept in a safe place. My question has always been, what happens when the burgular or robbers attempts to breakin ? Do you tell him to wait while you fine the ammo to load it or let me find the key to unlock it ? Only Law enforcement officers are allowed to carry weapons in the District, not only that, there are many SPO's Special Police Officers in the District working on Government jobs that have arrest powers but no weapons and those who do are only allowed to carry 38 cal. revolvers. Whats my point here ?
1. The police don't protect you and your family from harm you do. They can only respond after the fact. Until something happens they'er hepless in helping you/us. Mayor Fenty tried tirelessly to get this case through the Court, he wants all guns out of the District. He feels there's no need, and yet DC is like a war zone. Anytime you have 8 people killed in a nine hours, you have a crime ridden city. This was just one weekend.
2. Restricting your ownership of your choice of weapons is another means of control. Meaning you don't get to own a semi automatic weapon.
3. The old law as far as having weapons in your home will be illegal for 21 days until the Metro PD has come up with the propper registration forms and fees.
4. There will be no carry permits issued to private citizens, you can only own a firearm for the home not carry, citizens may feel just a little safer now. In the State of Va, people a have right to carry permits, and crime is down.
5. We as citizens need to look at our constitutional rights under the second ammendment and paay close attention. We barely won this on in the highest court in the land. 5 to 4, it seems we have 4 justices who wish to rewrite the constitution their way. If we aren't careful all gun owners will have their weapons taken away just like they have in England, and look at that country plum wild and off the hook with crime.
6. Criminals have better weapons then the police beleive it or not.
Recently I had an occasion to have breakfast out which I do frequently and I saw a women and her daughter enter and be seated after me. I happen to look over and what I saw actually made my skin crawl. This woman had some of the longest fingernails I've ever seen, they looked like claws. These nails had to had been 3 inches long maybe a tad longer. They were so long until they actually curved onder. Now I ask you is this necessary? I watched her use a cell phone with her knuckle, writing was a chore I noticed also. I mean this to me, just the sight of those nails made my skin crawl. I thought women were a thing of beauty, thats why God made her different but this is a bit much, I'd say.
I'm not a sexist and don't mean to sound like one, but I think about this womans safety on the job and her employer. What do clients of her employer think about her nails, are they offended, is she a safety hazzard a liabality? Does she have to be especially carefull so as not to break them and injure her hands ? Is she a risk to her employer or herself, does she compliment her job with nails like this ? How does she perforn her household chores, washing, ironing, dishes, cooking without being a hazzard. Why would she want nails that long in the first place ?
How would you react to seeing someone with 3 inch painted fingernails like this, or would you have a reaction or have any comment ? I wonder ? I personaly found them offensive to me, they put me in mind of an animal or rather large foul. She's not the first I've seen with those nails, I had the same feeling the last time. Maybe its just me .....
Well here we are again with Senator Clinton and another untruth, this time about a dead woman who actually had health care. her mistake was she didn't take time to check out her facts and her information was third party. She assumed, and that broken down into cylables comes out to be "ass/u/me", things like that make an ass out of you and me.
So I ask this simple question ? Is she still electable, and is this who the American People want to lead their country ? Not factoring in most of your Arab countries are Muslim and don't count women as nothing more then property that have no rights. I wonder how well she will be recieved ? Is she still electable with her new lies and untruths ? I wonder ?
